Wolverhampton Wanderers FC boss Nuno Espirito Santo is the Manager of the Month for September!
Nuno Espirito Santo has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for September 2018.
His promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers side won three of their four matches during that period, beating West Ham United, Burnley and Southampton.
Wolves kept clean sheets in all of those matches.
They also secured an impressive 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford and finished September unbeaten.
"It reflects the hard work of everybody in the club," he said. "It represents the effort of everybody working here, everybody at Molineux, our fans, the players, everybody.
"There's no individual prizes in football, everything comes from the team."
Nuno received his award from Hannah Parker, Wolves' Premier League Primary Stars champion, whose life at the local Lanesfield Primary School had been turned around by the League's education programme.
Consistency played a part in Nuno's success.
The Portuguese head coach has set a Premier League record after choosing the same starting line-up for each of his side's opening eight top-flight fixtures.
The 44-year-old was selected by a combination of votes from a panel of experts and from the public, beating Arsenal's Unai Emery, Liverpool 's Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City 's Pep Guardiola.
